Jono has been working hard now for just under a month in the VISION Personal Training Challenge. He began his weight loss journey in January 2012 and is loving the effects the challenge is having on his well being.

We would like to let everyone know that a little indie film that Jono has been working with and interviewing all the cast for their promotional materials have been out there creating a new way to take Australian films to market. As Jono says: ‘With the help of my good friends and record label ‘ Blue Pie Records ‘, the film has been raising much needed funds for the Variety kids. The Variety charity is a special cause and one very close to my heart. You can see all the news and media updates on the films site. All the ticket sales from the film at the Australian box office has been donated to Variety along with the car that was in the film and some incredible iconic pieces of memorabilia from the good people at Blue Pie Records.’

Welcome to my holiday broadcast from The Jono and Dano show. We are supposed to be having 10 days off the daily radio show. It hasn’t worked out like that. So far on my holidays I’ve done an interview with Rowan Atkinson. I’ve chatted to Rowan many times over the years in London and in Oz, so I said: “Yes, of course!” when he asked me to come and see his new movie Johnny English Reborn and do a special chat afterwards. He is a lovely man and a car/speed fan. He told me about crashing his McClaren F1 and how it will be a very expensive insurance repair. The car is worth more than $1 million.
